This is one of the favorite photos of the Huletts - Venus and the moon as well as twilight seen from their house. During their "sunset cruises" they stop the boat, enjoy the twilight and read this clip.

The above pictures of nesting owls were taken by Gerald McGuire. They were nesting in the McGuires' backyard in a tree. The McGuires watched them make the nest and were able to see the 2 babies growing up. They have since left, but hopefully will return next year.
Margie Abel sent these photos - the arbor is between the Prestel & Abel yard and the white clematis is in the Prestel yard.
This gorgeous sunset was captured from the home of Gloria Lay.
Margie Abel explains: "We saw this cotton mouth water moccasin crawling out of the bluebird house next to our boathouse. This birdhouse is about 7 1/2 feet off the ground on an iron pipe. It has 6 martin gourd houses on top of the pole, about 4 1/2 feet higher, and he was on his way up there. He was about 3 feet long.
Jimmy chopped his head off with a hoe while it was laying on the roof and
then had to pull the body out."
